Acceptable use policy
Last updated August 30, 2026
You're responsible for what your assistants say and do. These are the things you may not build with Ownbot.
You may not build assistants that
- Impersonate a real person or organisation without their authorisation.
- Present medical, legal, or financial advice as professional guidance.
- Collect sensitive personal data, including health information, financial account or card details, or government-issued ID numbers.
- Harass, threaten, deceive, defraud, or facilitate illegal activity.
- Resell raw API access, or operate as a general-purpose model wrapper with no defined purpose.
- Target children under 13, or knowingly collect data from them.
Also not allowed
- Generating sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualises real people without consent.
- Attempting to extract our prompts, keys, or other users' data, or to bypass credit limits and rate limits.
- Sending unsolicited bulk email to addresses collected through an email gate in breach of the law that applies to you.
Enforcement
We may remove an assistant or suspend your account when we believe this policy has been broken. Violations may result in suspension without a refund. Where the situation allows it we'll tell you what the problem is first. Your content stays exportable unless the law requires otherwise.
